Get SafeMonday on your phone

It installs straight from the website and opens from an icon, like an app. There is nothing to fetch from a store, and nothing to update later.

Scan the site QR poster, then install the report page so it is one tap next time. You still do not need an account to send a report.

Open Chrome
On Android, use Chrome. Open the page you want on the home screen: the dashboard after you sign in, or the report page from the poster.

Open the menu
Tap the three-dot menu in Chrome.

Install app or Add to home screen
Tap Install app, or Add to home screen if that is the wording on your phone. Confirm. The icon then sits with your other apps.

On older iOS it has to be Safari. Other browsers on those phones do not offer Add to Home Screen.

Open Safari
On iPhone or iPad, use Safari. On older iOS it has to be Safari. Chrome and other browsers on those versions cannot add a page to the Home Screen.

Tap Share
Tap the Share button. It is the square with an arrow leaving the top, in the toolbar.

Add to Home Screen
Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add. If you do not see it, scroll the share sheet.

Is it in the App Store?: Not yet: it installs straight from the website, works like an app, and needs no store download or updates.
Does it use my storage or data?: The phone keeps a small copy of the page shell so the icon opens quickly. It does not keep your reports on the phone, and it does not download store updates. Opening the dashboard or sending a report uses your connection, the same as the website.
Can I use the camera?: Yes. On the report form, Take a photo opens the camera. You choose the picture. SafeMonday does not use the camera unless you tap that button.
